About the opportunity

MOBEN&ROOSTER is currently recruiting a Lead Flexible Pipeline Engineer to support one of our major international clients in the Oil & Gas sector.

This is an exciting opportunity to join challenging offshore developments and play a key role in the engineering, procurement, qualification and installation of subsea flexible pipeline systems.

Your responsibilities

As Lead Flexible Pipeline Engineer, you will be responsible for leading technical activities throughout the project lifecycle, including:

• Conducting market and technology assessments.

• Supporting FEED and proposal activities.

• Defining technical specifications and evaluating suppliers.

• Reviewing vendor engineering documentation.

• Monitoring manufacturing and qualification testing.

• Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

• Providing engineering support for pre-commissioning activities.

• Supporting offshore installation engineering and operational activities.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.

Profile

We are looking for an experienced engineer with:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in API 17J flexible pipeline engineering.

• Strong knowledge of flexible pipe technologies used in offshore Oil & Gas developments.

• Solid understanding of the Oil & Gas industry.

• Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Flexcom (or equivalent) for flexible analysis.

• Knowledge of subsea umbilical systems.

Location

• Puteaux, France

• Occasional onshore and offshore assignments may be required depending on project needs.

Contract

• 12-month assignment

• Start date: September 2026
