MOBEN & ROOSTER is a French company specializing in engineering consultancy and software solutions for complex industrial projects.

We support major players in the energy and process industries on projects in France and internationally, with particular expertise in the critical phases of construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up.

As part of our collaboration with SPIE GSE, we are currently looking for a Commissioning Superintendent Engineer to join the CEYHAN Project in Turkey, a major project within the petrochemical industry.

Your Role

Reporting to the project Commissioning Management team, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination and field supervision of commissioning activities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supervising and coordinating pre-commissioning and commissioning activities within your assigned scope;

• Organizing commissioning teams and coordinating day-to-day activities across the different disciplines;

• Ensuring that activities are performed in accordance with the project’s commissioning procedures, priorities and sequences;

• Coordinating interfaces between Construction, Commissioning, Engineering and Operations teams;

• Ensuring systems and subsystems are ready prior to their handover to the commissioning teams;

• Participating in system completion, turnover and handover activities;

• Supervising functional testing and the various operations required for successful commissioning;

• Managing punch lists, identifying critical issues and coordinating their resolution;

• Ensuring full compliance with HSE and Quality requirements throughout commissioning activities;

• Monitoring daily progress and anticipating requirements in terms of manpower, equipment and resources;

• Participating in coordination meetings and providing accurate progress reporting to the Commissioning Manager;

• Supporting start-up preparation and assisting the teams during plant start-up.

Your Profile

You are an experienced Engineer or Senior Technician with a strong background in commissioning on major industrial projects, including significant experience in field supervision and coordination positions.

Previous experience within the petrochemical industry is mandatory.

Experience with Polypropylene (PP) and/or Polyethylene (PE) units would be a significant advantage.

You have a strong understanding of pre-commissioning, commissioning, system completion, handover and start-up preparation activities.

You are accustomed to working on large-scale international construction sites and are comfortable coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing interfaces between different stakeholders and driving activities in line with project priorities.

Strong field leadership, problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues will be essential to succeed in this position.

Professional/fluent English is mandatory, as the assignment will be carried out in a fully international environment.
